Sideline - 2nd Phone Number iOS App Details

A 2nd number for your smartphone—that’s your Sideline. Sideline is the fastest-growing phone solution for businesses, teams, entrepreneurs, freelancers and anyone who needs a 2nd number. Your second number comes with all the features of a regular phone number such as calling, texting, voicemail and more. On top of that, everything works with your existing carrier network (instead of Wi-Fi), making Sideline the most reliable and highly-rated phone app out there. Still on the fence? Read on: WHY SIDELINE – With Sideline, there’s no need to carry two cellphones, stay tied to a landline, or use your personal number for business. HOW IT WORKS – Your two numbers simply live in different apps. Separate caller ID, notifications, and ringtones make it clear who’s contacting you—and on which number.  CUSTOM NUMBER SELECTOR – Choose your area code and search memorable numbers like, “(555) DOG-WALK,” simple sequences like “(555) 400-1313,” or combinations that are, “JUST4U.” NUMBER PORTING – Already have a 2nd number? Bring it with. Porting lets you transfer existing numbers to Sideline from another device or landline.  CARRIER RELIABILITY – Unlike other calling apps that only work over Wi-Fi, Sideline uses your phone’s existing cellular network*. This gives you the same great call quality you get from your regular number.  TEXTING & CALLING – Texting is unlimited. Calling works with your carrier plan so minutes (which are probably unlimited) get shared between your two numbers.  SEPARATE VOICEMAIL – Greet callers with a professional voicemail greeting for your Sideline number. AUTO-TEXT REPLIES – Every missed call is a customer you may never get back. So auto-replies let you engage customers with a text message whenever you miss their call. TEAM NUMBER – Let your phone number ring simultaneously on multiple devices and allow your whole team to call, text and respond from one line. Sharing a number improves company collaboration, responsiveness and customer communication. DO NOT DISTURB – Silence Sideline on nights, weekends or holidays and send callers directly to voicemail. You can even set up multiple voicemails for any circumstance. SIDELINE SUBSCRIPTION – The required Sideline Subscription is an all-in-one combo meal that removes ads and gets you unlimited access to all of Sideline’s great calling, texting and voicemail features with premium support if you ever need it. *$9.99/month or $99.99/year In-App Purchase Required VOICEMAIL TO TEXT – Get your voicemails transcribed and conveniently read them as a text message. *$2.99/month In-App Purchase Required SALESFORCE INTEGRATION – Access your Salesforce contacts and leads with Sideline. Then log calls and business communication so you can always be closin’. *$9.99/month In-App Purchase Required VoIP CALLING – Make phone calls over WiFi when your carrier network doesn’t have cell service. *$2.99/month In-App Purchase Required MANAGE MULTIPLE NUMBERS – Remotely manage multiple numbers to turn employee phones into an entire company phone system. Enterprise account required. See for details. TERMS – The required Sideline Subscription and all other in-app purchases are automatically billed monthly or annually to your iTunes Account and auto-renew, unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24-hours before the end of the current period. Payments will be charged to your iTunes account upon confirmation of purchase. You can turn off auto-renew or manage subscriptions in your account settings. Cancellations take effect at the end of the active subscription period. Privacy policy & terms of use: *Data and Internet connectivity are still required for general functionality. “Using your carrier network,” makes call quality more reliable than calls over VoIP or Wi-Fi.  Hawaii, Alaska and the US territories aren't currently supported.

can't create its own contact list without going into your phone's contact list. looks like i'll have to switch to a non paid app that works better. the rates they're asking are ridiculous.

I uninstalled it, but still It's charging from my credit card without my consent. I again installed it to stop the subscription but there is no option to stop subscription. I will have to complain against this.

I love this app. Use it for business, helps keep my private number private. Yep, still love it. Makes me sad that it's not going to be free anymore.
  • Great app for business.

Loved this app till they announced they will be moving to subscription only. Just like any other app that gets a bit of popularity. I'll be deleting it the day the switch over.
  • Crucial to running my home based business.

    The best option.
  • It works

I used it on my phone to call text with a new assigned phone number. It works well. I don't see any problem, just one: you need to use it often so you won't lose the number assigned to you.
  • Bait and switch

I’m just bitter that it’s changed to a paid service. It works perfectly and live the app and features. I won’t pay for the service though.
  • 5 starts is misleading

Read the five star reviews. Who writes like that? Paid writers What a joke...we spoke and they listened? We all said we wanted a paid app? Seriously? How stupid do they think consumers are? Bye Felicia!
