The automatic workout generator is excellent, the interface is gorgeous, and certain key features like the easy substitution of one exercise for another and the ability to customize recovery percentages are truly brilliant." “Great for Beginners too! Love the Fitbod app, it has helped me so much in my workouts and development. Was stuck for years around 15% body fat and doing the same workout. After using the app for 2-3 months, went to 10% body fat and doing so many different things during the workout. Thank you so much for this app." Strava: Instagram: Twitter: Facebook: Privacy Policy: Terms of Use:

I am a 44 year old male trying to get rid of my “dad bod”. This app is supper helpful, and has given me a lot of motivation. Great choice.
  • Worth the money!!

I was really hesitant on spending the money for the year subscription, but I’m really glad I did. Unlike the other free apps I have used and even a pay app, this app changes my work out so I don’t have to. It keeps my workout fresh and not boring! It takes the weight system and weights that I have at my house and forms different workout that really work. If there is one exercise I can’t do it easy to switch it out for one that work the same mussel. It’s a great app! I would recommend this to everyone who looking to workout from home!
  • Best fitness app out there

PROs: The thing that sets this app apart from the others is how it learns what you can lift, and slowly ratchets it up so you don’t have to think about it. I love that I can setup multiple locations with available equipment; this allows me to work out at the gym, at home, and while traveling without having to fiddle with settings. CONs: The biggest failure of this app is the watch app, it falls out of sync and will randomly complete all of my sets without any interaction from me other than opening the app. I have since removed the watch app until it is more rely. Suggestions: I hope to see more machines & workouts added in the future. My gym has several machines that I use that aren’t in the workout list. I also have been shown a few barbell and dumbbell exercises by my trainer, which aren’t in the app. I would like to see a better implementation on push/pull, right now it does a decent job, but I have to manually do them in the right order, they do not come in pre-sorted. Same goes for upper/lower, the app doesn’t split them up correctly in ordering. It would also be nice to be able to rearrange the order of the workouts or have an auto arrange button for push/pull or upper/lower.

It’s like having a trainer in your phone. Keeps my workouts organized and pushes me to work at a consistent pace. I have enjoyed it so far.
  • Love this app

I’ve been working out for awhile but have a hard time coming up with variety in my workouts on my own. This app does an awesome job of hitting different muscle groups and makes me hella sore afterwards. I love it!
  • Android access

I love this app! It helps me learn how to test my limits and not hit a plateau. The only problem is my boyfriend loves it too but the app isn’t designed for his gender, age, and body type it’s customized for me and he can’t download it because his phone is an Android. How long will it be until the creators make it accessible for androids?

Would like to see more explanation why certain exercises, reps and weights were chosen.
  • The best Fitness App

I was extremely out of shape. With the Fitbod app it allows you to build a work out tailored to you.
  • The best yet!

Yes, it cost me $50 a year. Totally worth it! Cheaper than a trainer and the workout variety is awesome! No complaints here.
  • Almost everything

    By ehrenohkneel
This is a great app, it does just about everything you would want a fitness app to do, except edit or add lifts. You’re limited to the exercises they put on there and while there are lots to choose from, there are ones that I do that I’d love to add. I’d also love to be able to put my own videos/gifs in the instructions. But outside of those missing piece, this app is a great addition to your workout.
