  • Where are the big updates?

I have been playing Ironhide games as long as I can remember and they have always been enjoyable. The only problem is, the big updates that include a lot of content such as new heroes and new maps take too much time. This has really played a part in the new Iron Marines game. I have been waiting 7 months for an update that added new content but nothing has happened. It would be very helpful if the people at Ironhide worked on this problem.
  • Amazing game

Stellar gameplay just like their other games, but I would honestly love to see more unit stats involved with the game, like damage and hp or even critical hit chances for the heroes and even the basic units/towers.
  • Any word on update

An interesting mix between real-time strategy and tower defense that isn’t really great at being either of those things. There isn’t any real resource managing to do, and the tower defense side is very, very shallow. Not great as a RTS, and not great as a TD, but has its own unique flavor. Ultimately, this is a pretty great game that was fun to play through. Graphics are great, and the Easter eggs were appreciated. The production value is there. Not sure why many people are complaining about the difficulty, it was easy on veteran using the first hero you get (Taggins). I finished the game without buying extras/heroes, it’s honestly fairly easy. I did farm two hero levels to finish a difficult mission, but we are talking about repeating a mission twice, not days of grinding. I feel like the people complaining about difficulty are just younger kids who are used to vegetating during screen time while ‘winning’ games on autopilot. The only downside is the game is very short. Maybe four or five hours of gameplay, unless you want to repeat the game on impossible difficulty (I honestly don’t think it has much in the way of replayability).

Love the game. Beat all missions on the hardest mode, got all heroes to lvl 10. Bought more heroes and leveled them to 10. Unlocked every ability you could (necessary for beating all missions on the hardest mode.) I really enjoy every game I’ve played from Ironhide. My beef is that there’s not a ton of gameplay, it seemed to me as if this was released 70% finished. That’s fine, knew what I had before I invested into it. But we were promised future updates with futures levels. There’s even an entire other world sitting there telling us to wait for more levels. At this time it has been 8 months and there has only been 4 missions added to the game. 4 missions in 8 months! Wow. It almost pains me to give such a low rating but I feel like ive been ripped off.

Yeah, so if you're an rts player and fan of 40k I'm sure you are sorely disappointed with the new dawn of war...cuz it's a fail.....GET IRON MARINES. This mobile rts with gameplay and mechanics reminiscent of dawn of war 2 and aesthetic art style of starcraft is amazing. Its super fun AND, if you play on Veteran it is actually challenging! It's fuuuuull of amazing flavor; you will not be disappointed at $5, I assure you. Those of you saying its too hard even on casual...on mission 4....you have to built the turrets near the bases or yes...impossible lol. They can be easy to miss but you build then from the glowing green nubs on the ground. Even if you aren't used to rts games....you will enjoy it...even has some RPG elements like a list of heroes to chose from and lvl up with skills and a tech tree! This could very well be mobile game of the year, definately a contender at the very least. Get it! *In response to devs comment: Absolutely! You guys no doubt deserve it.

This is how you make an immersive game. In a way they moved over the kingdom rush formula; but, in this, allows you to take command of an army. And much like the kingdom rush games there are upgrades and heroes that keep me playing further than the introduction. I also like how they don’t explain the video game like it’s my first time using an app on my electrical doohickey. UPDATE: I would love if there there was an option for an endless wave. Or even upgrades to the troops. I love the design and easy navigating layout to summon. But I’d like to come across a couple of huge wars (20+ summons) or be able to do that in free mode where I can just enjoy the content of the game freely. I love the work of Ironhide, Kingdom Rush was fantastic and Iron Marines is a great campaign as well.
