Gboard iOS App Details

Gboard is a new keyboard from Google for your iPhone. It has all the things you would expect from a great keyboard — GIFs, emojis, and Glide Typing — plus Google Search built in. No more app switching; just search and send, right from your keyboard. Search and send anything from Google: • Nearby stores and restaurants • Videos and images • Weather forecasts • News and articles • Sports scores • And anything else you’d search on Google GIFs — Search GIFs for the best reaction Emoji Search — Find the perfect emoji, faster Glide Typing — Type faster by sliding your finger from letter to letter Privacy We know the things you type on your phone are personal, so we’ve designed Gboard to keep your private information private. What Gboard sends to Google: • Gboard sends your searches to Google’s web servers to give you search results. • Gboard also sends usage statistics to Google to let us know which features are used most often and to help us understand problems if the app crashes. • If you use Gboard’s microphone, voice input will be sent to Google for transcription. What Gboard doesn’t send to Google: • Other than your searches and voice inputs, Gboard doesn't send anything you type to Google, whether it’s a password or chat with a friend. • To help you with spelling and to predict searches you might be interested in, Gboard will store the words you type on your device. This data is not accessible by Google or by any apps, and can be cleared at any time. • If you’ve turned on contacts search in Gboard search settings, this allows Gboard to search the contacts on your device so you can easily share. None of these queries are sent to Google.

Thanks for bringing persian language on Google keyboard! 🙏🏻 However it's still laggy very much, swiping is inaccurate and voice recognition could use some tweaks too
  • I was excited BUT

1️⃣ It is lagging — not just you're keyboard but my entire phone 2️⃣ Bad autocorrect and horrible, off topic word suggestions 3️⃣ iOS users need the option of customizing our keyboards just like our keyboard. I've been on iOS since the iPhone 3, that keyboard is much simpler to use in the way their board is setup

    不支持词汇记忆,不支持词汇记忆,不太明白gboard的规划,anroid与ios在输入法方面功能很混乱

It just spins and never downloads on iOS 11.0 iPhone 6s plus.
  • Better than the iOS stock keyboard

The only suggestion I would give is allowing additional color themes. The Android version of this app has endless color theme selection. Unfortunately, this iOS app version only has black or white to choose from and weird landscape images that only hurtbmy eyes. Please allow more color themes!
  • Good, but not perfect

The Keyboard is good at its job, being a generally responsive simple to use keypad. All of its issues are issues shared with the default keyboard, with 2 exceptions. 1. Word-Fill at the top of the keyboard is strange. The Word-Fill at the top often has strange words filling it, based on previous searches. For example, I texted someone a name twice, and everytime I start a sentence, the name comes up. 2. Scrolling The keyboard occasionally screws up scrolling at page placement when you open the keyboard. For example, I tried to fill in an answer on Khan Academy, and for a few text boxes, the page would scroll to a weird spot The Gboard as of now is a good replacement for Apple's keyboard, but it's features aren't as useful as they appear, and has a few good customizable settings over the default keyboard 4.1/5
  • Best keyboard I've come across so far

The swipe type algorithm works really well; much, much better than other swipe keyboards I've used. In fact, I'd use it just for that function alone regardless of the Google search stuff they built in (I don't use those functions that much, in actuality any way). Highly recommend for quick accurate typing.
  • beautiful app, please add an ABC keyboard in future

I like the Google keyboard. After the update with the new iOS 11, with the keyboard changes which are ugly and confusing, it is refreshing to have this wonderful Google keyboard to use. may I ask Google to include in future updates an ABC keyboard please, it is practical for people like my mother whomis a senior citizen, and people with learning disabilities. Thank you.
