Best calendar app out there for iOS. Worth every penny...
  • Try the simpler Moca calendar

I've used the Moca, monthly view calendar, for years now. This app is similar, but much more complicated and encourages a subscription fee. This app may be for you, but be sure to look at the Moca app too.
  • Still the Best

Although I have tried many organizers, none of the others comes remotely close. Informant is always the one I rely on.

This is by far the best calendaring and personal organizer app I have found and I have literally probably tried every single one of them. It is the best!!
  • Very nice daily planner

I have been using this app for a few years on 2-3 iOS devices and a MacBook. It keeps everything in sync and places information I want in easy reach. I have never used its “power user” features. Their subscription service for syncing everything is worth it to me, partly because it’s not a GoogleBook operation (yet).
  • Very Flexible and Functional

Informant 5 helps me do the tasks I need to do during the day, keep my appointments, and keep some of the essential information I need close at hand. I have Attention Deficit Disorder, and I find that this is a good tool to help me manage my day. But Informant 5 helps me do some jobs better than others. When I am simply entering appointments and tasks on a daily basis, it shows a 5 star level of ease of use. But when I start classifying my information by all of the many categories this app provides, and then filtering and cross-referencing to display the specific appointment and task lists I want, the results are not as good as I would like. Someone who understands better than I do how Informant 5's underlying data bases relate to each other might get better results. But I rely on this app daily and I find that if I use Informant 5 simply, I also use it effectively; unfortunately, as I try to use some of its potentially stronger features the learning curve is steeper and I am less effective. I am offering a four star rating, because I find Informant 5 a little complicated to use at times. But those four stars still come with a strong recommendation. It's advantages outweigh the disadvantages, and it is a life saver for someone who, like me, has faith that a portion of life can be organized, but may only brush their teeth if that is on a check-list, if they remembered where they put the check-list before they went to bed.

  • Use Siri for creating tasks bad design

Using Siri to create tasks works but not as expected. When you create such a task and you assign it a date and a time it becomes the start date of the task instead of the due date of the task. That is counterproductive because if you do not have tasks that span multiple days then you need to adjust your views to include start dates for tasks.I hope you guys read your reviews and hopefully will fix this issue.

This may be the worst "upgrade" I've ever experienced. I'm devastated that after years of running my life off of Informant I have to leave because the experience is so terrible. I'm a UX professional with 20+ years in the field and I'd love a few minutes alone with whoever designed this experience. Sad to day goodbye.
