  • Reconsidered

After spending some time using the app it appears every effort has been made to solve the crashing problem. It was also nice to receive direct feedback from the developer acknowledging the problem and promising improvements. Time will tell but things are looking better. Well done! Part 2: Unfortunately the crashes continue.

  • Pretty nice

Like it a lot, nice feature mix and clean look. But sometimes it doesn’t remember state of map, forecast from last time I used it, and sometimes the widget shows "unable to load" (which to be fair is a bug that a lot of other widgets have too). Developer is responsive to feedback.

  • Missing some features & a few other problems

I have paid subscriptions to the top three weather apps, yet I prefer the simplicity of Weather Atlas. The developer only needs to fix a few issues and I'll remove all other weather apps from my phone. First, it needs the "Future Radar" feature. Current and future radar are all that matter in a weather one cares about where the rain was an hour ago. Next, correctly correlate the rain icons with the percentage of rain forecasted for that day. E.g., for the next three days here its showing 30%, 30% and 40%. But the raindrops icon shows 8 drops for 30% and 2 drops for 40%. Visually confusing. Higher % should be more drops. Also, once I select a city to monitor, it should stay there, and it does for a day or two. Then I'll open the app and it's offering me all the cities I have in favorites, forcing me to select one again. Impressively, Weather Atlas opens and immediately shows the two most important things to me, the local map at the top and the hourly forecast at the bottom. And from there it's only one tap to any other place you want to go. Also, even in the ad-supported version, Weather Atlas doesn't make you scroll through a bunch of weather-related pictures and videos to finally see the radar and other components (like The Weather Channel does, even for their paid subscription). Great start...I just hope they keep improving it.
  • Crash festival

Can't even open the app because it crashes every time. It's a shame because this app looks great.
