App Reviews

  • Great App!

    By Unlimited Play Option
I really like the layout and look of the app. It’s easy to use and the short instant video clips after clicking on the profile pictures is cool too. It is a bit expensive, but I think it’s worth it for what you get. I’ve been a member for a while now, and I would not recommend access to all lessons. Many of them are not worth watching. This site is best for those who want to hear from two or three specific people they’re interested in hearing from, which this app is great for.
  • Can’t download the classes

    By Capone0007
The whole point of this app should be to download classes so you can view them off line or anywhere without having to use cell data. I’m traveling and would love to view these offline. Thought the app would solve that...if it’s possible I haven’t figured out how:(
  • The Best

    By aaplsauce
It feels like a one way conversation with the most talented individuals of various industries. This is the gold standard of online courses. Such a great value for the price & even more so with the launch of the app for iOS! Really hoping for an TV app next!
  • Great!

    By renardargente
It’s a companion app to the paid website.. so duh of course it costs money to watch people 🙄 lol. I bought 2 lessons. Worth every penny. Taking these classes at a college or online would be far far more expensive.
  • Masterclass on the go!

    By jbagooles
My commute just got much more interesting.
  • I love masterclass but this app wasn’t ready yet

    By RImUser
Really. Please do a Lot more QA. The bugginess of this app (iPhone 7plus) is painful. I will happily upgrade the rating maybe after two more updates.
  • My commute just got a lot smarter

Its awesome to be able to watch on the go. Sitting at a computer felt like work. Now I can properly enjoy this great content! Thanks :)
  • A great deal!

I’m a big fan of MC ... if you went to see these pros in person you would be paying triple to what it cost here. Love to see more music MC like Dave Groll , or other artists! Thanks
  • No offline support???

    By rob3333
(For $180/year)? Please add this immediately. I love many of the classes and have already subscribed to the yearly membership, but this is a serious oversight for any App version (especially for those of us who don’t have unlimited data plans and are out and about – which is the point of using mobile in the first place, is it not?) If Netflix, Showtime, and others can do it – surely you can as well for that price. Please let me know if this is coming soon with thanks.
  • The Problem with Master Class

    By Skip Deluca
Master Class operates on the premise that successful artists make for exceptional teachers. This premise is false. Being famous does not make you a gifted teacher, probably the opposite is true. The “lessons” are more like interviews and only contain very broad information. There is nothing is any master class that is not taught better, deeper and cheaper else where. The staging, lighting, camera angles and sound are top notch, which make for pretty classes with lots of stories but little substance. Yes, there are insights from the celebrities, but these are more anecdotal and interesting, then applicable or actionable. The master class premise is flawed. If you want to learn seek out a skilled teacher not a name brand celebrity. If you want to watch an interview with a celebrity you admire, master class is what you are looking for.
