MyRadar Pro Weather Radar App Details

Thanks to everyone for making MyRadar so successful, with over 30 million downloads! MyRadar is a fast, easy-to-use, weather application that displays animated weather radars around your current location, allowing you to quickly see what weather is coming your way. Our High Definition Doppler radar data is processed from raw NOAA weather radar data from the National Weather Service / NWS using our custom-designed, proprietary systems and software, offering the clearest, sharpest, most accurate and most up-to-date reflection of precipitation available... easily accessible at the tap of a finger on your mobile device. Just start the app, and your location pops up with animated weather, allowing you to easily see if rain or snow is headed your way. Our high-res animated radar helps you see weather details even at the closest level! What's great about MyRadar is that the map is easily zoomed and scrolled around with the flick of a finger, allowing you to quickly check the weather in other parts of the country, including Hawaii & Puerto Rico! On top of the basic weather forecast, users can get a quick glance of temperatures around the country, as well as overlay a current satellite image of cloud cover. For you aviation buffs, there's a layer that provides AIRMETs & SIGMETs, and even the ability to overlay the flight plan of a particular aircraft onto the map. With an additional annual subscription that automatically renews, you can overlay the weather on top of VRF and IFR aviation charts. You can also share interesting weather photos from your area, and see photos other users have contributed neatly displayed on the map. Additional options include weather warnings and alerts, complete with push notifications, to warn you of severe weather in your area. Great for the start of thunderstorm and tornado season! There's also an optional hurricane tracker, providing excellent details and projections for the path of storms as the season looms near. MyRadar currently shows weather for the United States (including Alaska, Hawaii, and Puerto Rico, when HD Radar is enabled). Download MyRadar today and try it out! -------- If you choose to purchase the Aviation Charts subscription, which is not required in order to use MyRadar, payment will be charged to your iTunes account, and your account will be charged for renewal within 24-hours prior to the end of the current period. Auto-renewal may be turned off at any time by going to your settings in the iTunes Store after purchase. The current subscription for the Aviation Charts starts at $24.95 USD per YEAR. Prices are in U.S. dollars, may vary in countries other than the U.S. and are subject to change without notice. No cancellation of the current subscription is allowed during the active subscription period. If you don’t choose to purchase the subscription for the Aviation Charts, you can simply continue using MyRadar for free. For MyRadar’s Privacy Policy, visit: For full terms of service visit:

  • Used to love it....

Now, not so much. What happened to the location finder on my IPad? I see it on my iPhone - why isn’t on all my devises since I’ve updated the app? Perhaps I will look elsewhere for an app that doesn’t disappoint.

I love the UI and it puts my favorite features of weather apps front and foremost, even paid to remove ads on this one, but today is telling me it's 62° in my area when it's actually 49° degrees. This hurts my feelings.

The radar images are great and are updated in a timely manner. One thing that needs to be improved upon is city forecasts. They are usually inaccurate. So, all in all I like the app and will continue to use it.

  • No more animation for Apple Watch

    By Tsukasa10
I strictly bought the pro version for one reason only, to get the radar animation and be able to zoom in and out on the Apple Watch which worked perfectly but I guess since recent updates they got rid of it, please bring it back And I’ll Improve my star rating
  • This app is 100% worth it.. (sorta)

This app is real good but the price to upgrade it so you can see hurricanes is way to expensive please take down the price

  • Update Note Spammer

App using iOS to spam content for an unreleased PC game... Srsly hoped this was a joke. Fake moons instead of REAL content from NOAA, NASA, ESA. What next, Tatooine? Fillory? The Upside Down? ‘Weather’ parts are partially broken, nonfunctional ‘temp/pressure’ charts block the screen, making forecast data too small to easily navigate. Why are charts broken and breaking the layout, but fake moons are added? Stuff like this cause users to question the integrity of the app. Updating the code of thousands of devices for totally unrelated ‘partner’ content? What else is hidden in the app that ‘undisclosed partners’ have paid to stick on our devices? Last year we had full screen video mattress ads blaring every time we opened the app (still not over that) this year it’s moons for an unreleased PC game... I feel all icky and dirty after reading update notes laced with spam for an unrelated product. It crosses a line. Heat-index, additional map styles, solar weather, historic weather for viewing previous days/weeks/years, would all be great.... even fixing the broken layout would be nice... but not fake moons from a PC kickstarter. Just. No... Seriously, make a separate GAME app for MMO gamers with maps for WoW, Guild Wars2, Star whatever moons, etc.. if that’s the content being developed.
