  • Double charged and treated rudely

    I was at the the 3815 Starbucks on j street and ordered a honey saracha sandwich and a grande coffee I paid for part of it with the app then the rest with a gift card. The order was approved and they said I had a $1.60 balance left on the card and printed the receipt which they threw away. Afterwards I requested to reload the balance on my phone app, that’s when they asked me to go to the next register with a different worker so the next people behind could order. At the next register the lady asked how I wanted to pay and I said I would use my credit card, that’s when she asked what I ordered before and rung it up again even tho I said I already paid which she said it wasn’t on her register and proceeded to charge me for the full order again which this time I paid using my credit card. After believing this to be a mistake I checked the remaining balance on the gift card which should have been returned to the original price if what she said was correct about it not going through. Except when I checked the gift card the balance was at $1.60 which is what the original worker said was left on it after I completed the payment the first time. So I’m requesting to have my second payment of about $10 which I was wrongfully double charged for. I am a regular costumer of Starbucks spending about $60-70 a month and was appalled by the way I was treated at this store today, as a loyal customer I request to be given what I’m owed.

  • Fix “History” feature! Starbucks- please fix your app and stop screwing over your baristas!

    Love the app and use it almost daily, but the history feature hasn’t worked for some time, and only shows my purchases from 2+ months ago. This is preventing me from leaving a tip, as that can only be accessed from the history list.

    But it stopped working with the latest update. It doesn’t launch and crashes. Not cool when folks are waiting behind you in line and you can’t pay because the app crashes repeatedly.

    I’ve tried changing my password multiple times even spoke to customer service deleted the app re downloaded but nothing seems to work huge inconvenience since I can’t even see what rewards I have and order ahead and I don’t think I’m the only one please fix this issue
