Fitbit App Details

Live a healthier, more active life with Fitbit, the world’s leading app for tracking all-day activity, workouts, sleep and more. Use the app on its own to track basic activity and runs on your phone, or connect with one of Fitbit’s many activity trackers and the Aria Wi-Fi Smart Scale to get a complete picture of your health—including steps, distance, calories burned, sleep, weight, and more. TRACK ACTIVITY: Accurately record your steps and distance with MobileTrack when you carry your phone. For all-day tracking of stats like calories burned, active minutes, and sleep, pair the app with a Fitbit tracker. RUN SMARTER: Enhance runs, walks and hikes by using MobileRun to track your pace, time and distance. You can also control your music, get voice cues and use your phone’s GPS to map your routes. (Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.) RECORD WORKOUTS: Use your Fitbit tracker to track your exercise, then check the app to see your stats, their impact on your day, and how your performance is improving. MONITOR HEART RATE: Use a Fitbit tracker with PurePulse™ to analyze heart rate graphs in the app. Identify trends, manage stress and see the results of your workouts. Review resting heart rate trends to see when your fitness is improving. LOG FOOD FASTER: Easily log calories with our barcode scanner, calorie estimator, and expanded food database of more than 350,000 foods. See your meal history at a glance, and get nutritional insights. MEASURE HYDRATION: Quickly log your water intake to make sure you’re properly hydrated during workouts and throughout the day. SET & MANAGE GOALS: Create weight, nutrition and exercise goals, and start a food plan to stay on track. Then get a visual picture of your progress with colorful, easy-to-read charts and graphs. SEE HOW YOU SLEEP: Set sleep goals in the app, and use a Fitbit tracker to monitor how much time you spent awake, restless or peacefully sleeping. SHARE & COMPETE: Connect with friends and family by sharing stats, sending direct-messages, and competing on the leaderboard or in Fitbit Challenges. STAY MOTIVATED: Get a nudge in the right direction with notifications that pop up when you’re close to reaching a goal or have already met one. SYNC WIRELESSLY: Fitbit trackers sync your stats to computers and 200+ leading devices so you can continuously track your progress without needing to plug in. MANAGE WEIGHT: Connect wirelessly to the Aria Wi-Fi Smart Scale to seamlessly track your weight, BMI, lean mass and body fat percentages, and to see your weight trends over time. App Reviews

  • App is all jacked up now

The app syncs to MyFitnessPal but 1 Day FitBit thought not to sync my exercises from MyFitness Pal to FitBit so beware if you sync a app to FitBit may decide it does not want to sync certain days from the supported app to FitBit you add exercises manually in FitBit it refuses to sync the exercises you manually enter so you lose a day of exercises. No other Fitness tracker app does this. I highly recommend getting a different company tracker or just get a Smart Watch like Gear or Apple Watch, Pebble one of those this will be my last FitBit ever wasted years and $500 on this bad unreliable company called FitBit. Your company owes me $500 please contact me to arrange my $500 payment thank you. This so called company is childish make inaccurate trackers.
  • App crashes

Every time I try to share from weight loss it crashes
  • Need more from macros

I love that the app shows your macro percentage but I have to log into the desktop site in order to find out my actual macro numbers (in grams). Just an annoying extra step. Otherwise it would be 5-stars, I’d love to see this in an update.
  • Update Failure

With the new update to this app I am ready to sell my Fitbit and get an Apple Watch. My device will not connect and all my days of data will be lost if it ever connects again since the time limit to sync has passed for a few days already. I’m very disappointed about this.
  • Recent updates messing up

I love the app and my device generally, but lately the app has been telling me to connect to the internet. I’m always connected to the internet, so that’s kind of annoying. Also tells me to connect to the internet to view historical data. It says this on both WiFi and cellular.
  • Great app but...

I like the Fitbit app but it does not allow you to edit incorrect data, clear daily logs in the event you have errors. And I see users have been asking for that feature since 2014. I made 3 submission errors that could not be corrected. Other than they great tracking, I especially like the sleep settings, and heart rate tracker.
  • Female Health Feature

The Fitbit app works as expected - sometimes takes a long time to sync, but otherwise tracks all info from my Alta HR well. However, I still can’t figure out how to tell the Female Health Feature that I’m pregnant. I can enter my last cycle, and say I’m not on birth control, but no way to say I’m pregnant.
  • Love my Fitbit hate the app.

I Love my Fitbit but the app frustrates me because it doesn’t update properly. Even though my watch may say active 10 hrs the app shows 7 or 5 or whatever goofy number it feels like. My Fitbit gets 5stars but the app gets 3.
  • Used to be great, until recent update

After recent update, it no longer auto tracks exercise. There’s no way to manually enter it while still keeping your step count accurate. For example, if I take an hour long walk, it counts my steps, but does not log it as exercise. If I try to manually enter the walk, it will increase my step count. Tried to contact customer service, but have not received a response. It’s so frustrating. Why fix what ain’t broke? The app was great until the update.
  • Glitches

Since the newest update this week my group has had issues syncing our fitbits to the app. I had to unconnected my device, reinstall plus uninstall the app and reload it to get mine to sync. Something isn’t right. Then when it does finally sync it takes sometimes hours to update. Usually it does pretty well as far as an app goes.
