  • Tracking Repeat buyers

It would be awesome if you had a repeat buyer. The information was stored on your profile so you could know what they had previously purchased, was it quick responses, did they ask 10 question then disappear for a week then reappear for purchase. It appears that Facebook market place appeals to a wider audience, but it also has tons of flakes. The search feature on OfferUp for some reason does not stay within the parameters that you input I.e. (search a 5 mile radius for coffee maker; and you find it, then discover it is 30 miles away.). That should be fixed

  • The best way to sell or buy goods

Hi I am a professional with a very nice and occupied life and this app really works for me whenever a need to sell or buy goods. I usually used Ebay and since I’m using this app I have used Ebay less and less. So Ebay wash out!
  • Bad zip codes and lots of car dealer lately

Zip codes for Seattle will include federal way and fife for some reason. The item window will say Seattle but they will actually be in Tacoma. Not good. There has also been a large rash of car dealerships that will place in all sorts of key words, so I’m looking for a front door and 80% of the posts will be new cars, grrrr. This needs to be sorted out so I’m not waisting my time.
  • Knowingly allows scams

Offerup is littered with scams. These scammers post an item (usually an automobile) at a ridiculously low price. The photos all look like they’re off google images. The title will either contain an email address (usually gmail or Comcast) or they will ask for yours in the message. Just to see how they work I provided an email. These scumbags reply claiming all sorts of things like they are in the military or even worse, it belonged to their loved one who died. They give you a false sense of security that your purchase is through eBay or amazon. They send you a fake invoice with the logo on it and everything but the address it comes from is random. Looks legit enough to fool an unsuspecting person though. The goal of the scam is to basically send them eBay or amazon gift cards. It’s funny because I posted 2 ads. One was selling the item and the other was to trade the item. One was removed right away by offerup yet they allow these scammers to post HUNDREDS of ads with the same photos in different states. They also allow them to use the word “gmail” in the description or title. Seems like a simple enough thing to filter out considering they “discourage” communication outside of the app. Sure seems coincidental. By the way. Reporting the ads or users do nothing. You get a generic “thank you” response. If you reach out for support you get the same. Almost seems automated as half the time it does not address what you reached out for. Bottom line, letgo does not have these scams. Funny how that is. You’ve been warned....
  • Offer up easy to use

Offer up is very easy to use. Unfortunately, offers are not serious. Offer up should find a way to to compromise the buyer because even though a seller accepts an offer, the buyer many times does not follow through.

Instead of three rows of small thumbnail two rows of larger thumbnails would be much better

Trying to sell a crib, my post keeps getting removed due to communication issues. New to the app and I’m already quitting.
