Build the body and strength you always wanted. StrongLifts is your personal trainer. Get the simplest, most effective workout plan to get stronger and build muscle. Rated 5 stars by thousands of users. Results from StrongLifters... • Used for 3 months! Excellent results 285lb squat! • I've gained 8 pounds of muscle in 3 months. • After 12 weeks I'm now aiming for the 300lb squat and getting my bench above 220lb. • In 3 weeks my squat has gone up by 45lb. It's an exercise I've struggled with in the past, but now it's one of my favourites. • Being middle aged, overweight and never lifted weight this was what I needed. I am gaining muscle and strength, losing inches on the waist and squatted 220lb for the first time. I am more than happy. Here’s how to get started with StrongLifts 1. Enter your best lifts (Squat, Bench, Deadlift,…), or start as a complete beginner 2. Watch how we calculate your optimal starting weights for each exercise 3. Get motivated by how much we predict you’ll be lifting in 12 weeks 4. Follow the workout plan, and build strength and muscle! Stop wasting time in the gym, and start getting results. The StrongLifts 5x5 workout plan only takes three workouts a week of 45 minutes each. It's simple but effective.. • Intense, full body workouts to target every muscle with only three exercises • Free weight, barbell exercises like Squats to build maximum strength and muscle • Science-backed “Progressive Overload” to trigger gains and motivation • Easy start with high exercise frequency to master proper form • Rest days between workouts for optimal muscle recovery • Visible, objective progress to keep you motivated • Simple workouts to increase gym consistency Most fitness apps only log your workouts but don’t show you how to get results. StrongLifts guides you through each workout like a personal trainer. It does all the thinking for you so you can focus on lifting. With StrongLifts you’ll know… • How much weight to start with • Which exercises to do each workout • When to add weight, and by how much • How to adjust for failures and plateaus • When to deload, or switch sets & reps • How long to rest between every set • How much to lift after a break You'll love the simplicity and ease-of-use of StrongLifts. Most fitness apps do too many things and are complicated to use. StrongLifts keeps it simple and saves you time… • Easy to log - tap the circles to enter your sets, keep tapping to lower the reps • Easy to adjust - tap the weight to change it, or let StrongLifts progress the weight • Easy to follow - rest after each set, do your next set when the timer rings • Easy to track progress - watch your strength increase on graphs • Easy to learn - watch in-app videos of workouts Apple Health compatible: sync workouts, body-weight, calories Download StrongLifts and try our free workout plan. App Reviews

  • Still No New Features to Show.

    By Jerickins
Paid for the Pro Subscription due to promise of upcoming enhancements. It’s been months now but still no significant new feature to justify the price.
  • Superb

Best lifting app in the App Store.
  • The cost is way too high

    By doo
I paid a flat price years ago for this simple app. New pricing model is a rip-off —I lost the warmup feature. I get the maker needs to make money—and id pay a dollar a month to support the app—but the current pricing is way too unfair.
  • Great for beginners

    By Looks great. Runs great.
Easy to get started and track progress
  • Decent!

    By Captain sly
Good to track progress and handle deloading. I’d like a feature to rename default exercises. Example: “Squat” to “Squat - take shoes off!” as a reminder! The exercise program itself it phenomenal. I’ve gotten excellent results in a short time by following it to a T and maintaining diet.
  • Not sure $19.99 a year is warranted

    By Jamtronicus
The functionality of the app is pretty basic, so not entirely sure why this app subscription is so much! I do like the logging and the warmup calculator.
  • Effective Gym App

    By nickml25
I think the app is one of the best gym apps I’ve used. It isn’t cluttered with ads and demo videos that I don’t need but they’re available if I need them. The website also had a lot of good reference material. Using the app is great, I really like the “check box” style that lets me move effectively through the workout. I’m still relatively new but the developer seems engaged. I bought the annual pass, and thus far I’m really happy with the purchase.
  • Solid Free Weight Plan

    By Charpiehler
I am 27 years old. Athletic, active guy. Been in the gym for many years but never ventured into Free Weights. This is awesome plan built to give you confidence in free weights, learn the right lifting techniques, and crush lifting goals. Highly recommend!
  • Mehdi my guy

    By sultan1425
What can i say I understand mehdi needs money, but becoming like that 💩player unknown and releasing updates that make the app worse is just a sham.. you havent even fixed the equipment bug that wont let you adjust how much the bar weighs or syc correctly into apple health.. on top of you charging for info you got for free the app seems to run slower and slower for every update you so call release eventually to try an force you to upgrade phones why cant we have the old mehdi and format with the black screen hexs.. dang youve done changed and forgot where u came from an left your days 1 was gonna give u 3s but now that you left your day 1 you get 1
  • Good workout for me, but App has many bugs

    By lariuugt
Good workout for me, but App has many bugs. If I may name a few bugs: (1) occasional crashes; (2) I turn on the Apple Health sync function, but sometimes when I relaunch the App, the sync feature got turned off automatically and unexpectedly. (This bug hasn’t happened in the past few days. Maybe it got fixed); (3) navigation bar disappears — which is not supposed to do so — after watching a tutorial video in the App.
