App Reviews

  • Not worth it

    By nick.365
It’s not different from the free apps. Too bad I wasted 20 on it.
  • This. Great App.

    By Madison is Great
we use this app a lot for school (and otherwise). it’s quite helpful, especially for us blind/visually impaired beings. (okay, maybe not, “especially.”) It works wonders. (I mainly use it for those dumb PDF files, which is pretty much every single document nowadays.) And the app comes with a nice voice of choice with no extra charge. Pretty sweet.
  • Major Bugs: Please fix PDF margins

    By Newhadoop
Update: Thank you, great update on the margins. The issue still persists when I change to plain text for readability. Please fix it. Honestly speaking I find this app expensive.Expect basic features. Genuine request: Why is it so hard to fix PDF margins ? Many apps automatically can skip headers and footers. This is Extremely hard and frustrating in this app and I could not fix footer ever. Please fix it.
  • App does not work

    By Patrick in Md
I was excited to try out this app. But when I downloaded it I found that I couldn’t get past the first screen that asks you to select a digital voice. There are no voices to choose from and nothing to click on.
  • Won’t play uploaded PDF

    By Ben
Very frustrated. Uploads pdfs and displays pages but will not play audio to read text.
  • Disappointing

    By KhanhTran
This app is rather pricey for a single robotic voice. I thought it would sound more natural. My fault for not reading the fine print, but I really don’t want to pay more money for each additional voice. Over priced.
  • A real App Store gem! *MUST HAVE APP!*

    By Ipad user 81
Just click BUY! This is a fantastic app and was VASTLY underpriced when I paid $9.99 for v2.x back in the beginning of 2013! Since then it has received a RIDICULOUS amount of great updates adding A TON of new features!!! Makes all other TTS apps obsolete. Even though they are YEARS ahead of their competitors Voice Dream continues to innovate and improve upon what is already an App Store gem! I believe @$14.99 this app is STILL underpriced! click 'BUY' now before they realize they could easily be charging $19.99 for this!!! There is a related but far inferior app called read2go that is priced at $19.99 Thank you so much for continuing to support and update this app! keep up the great work and the 5 star reviews will continue to add up telling the story of what a great app you've created! 👍 Thank you
  • Great app!

Very customizable, good choice of voices, ability to seamlessly listen to one file after another much appreciated. And very responsive support!
  • Good app

    By Harambe101
I loved the free version of this app. They canceled it and I couldn’t use it anymore. So I thought I would get the paid version (this version) so I did. I also thought that this app would be a lot better than the free one now that this is a newer version. The voices are a lot better and hope they’ll improve. I am also visually impaired and this helps me read a lot better. Overall, good app.
  • Doesn’t work with Bluetooth

    By Sleepy rabbit
It is a cool app that can read PDF, however, I can only use this app with my speaker but not my Bluetooth devices. The voice won’t get transferred either to my Bluetooth earbuds or car speaker. This is a really annoying... or did I miss something? Also, the app can’t tell header and footer, - it reads everything... hope this can be fixed in the update.
