App Reviews

  • My Very Favorite App

    By BankerSVP
This app is amazing. It’s constantly getting better rather than being forgotten. Pay the annual membership fee! It’s inexpensive and so worth the price for the upgrades. And by adding Alexa, this app deserves 10 stars!!! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
  • Excellent Recipe App

I use this app almost on a daily basis for grocery shopping and planning out a menu for the week. The neat feature for me is when you click on an ingredient you need from a recipe it places that ingredient into you grocery list. The app further places that same ingredient under the appropriate category such as produce, dairy, etc.. I highly recommend the app to all. The price for the yearly subscription is reasonable to boot.
  • Useful app

Started using this when it first came out. Sharing lists, importing recipes, and other features make this a gem. Developers are continuously making improvements, e g. recently added Alexa integration- as did Sonos, causing me to breakdown and get a Dot.
  • I won't use anything else!

AnyList is just about perfect, and AnyList Complete is totally worth the money. I had tried and tried to find good listmaking apps for shopping and other tasks before I found it, even shopped around a couple times while I've had it, but no other app has my favorite features and it updates and gets even better pretty frequently. It's SUPER easy to use and I would be lost without it. Thanks, guys. c:

I love the app! I've used it for my shopping and various other lists for several years and just learned to download recipes. That’s a really good feature!
  • Going downhill from 4 stars

    By Ace Jones
Becoming bloated. Who adds photos to the items on their shopping list? Why am I asked if I want to undo an action every couple of minutes? I’ve never, ever said yes but it persists. I’m actively looking for a replacement.
  • Great App!

I got Anylist back in like 2012 and have used it daily ever since. It’s not just for making grocery lists, although it does a fantastic job of that too. We make lists for everything from a DVD list to camping supplies list. When we’re out at the store and find an old movie we’d like to add to our collection, it’s great to be able to check our current library to make sure we haven’t previously bought it and it also keeps our catalogs updated. It’s great for planning a camping trip because you can collaborate on making a list, then check off the items as you pack them...and you can save the list to use for your next trip, including adding or removing things as your needs change. I have used this for Christmas lists, grocery lists, movies, hardware store supplies, camping, book inventory, video game inventory...everything. The options are endless. I’d also recommend paying the subscription cost. It’s not terribly expensive for a year and it allows you to categorize your lists as well as many other features. I hope you find as many uses as we have for Anylist.
  • One of the best list/recipe apps you can find

    By skaterx2
I've been using Any list for three years now and the app is as use full and more so since I started. I started using it as a list maker for shopping. The ability to cross things of off as I get them has streamlined my travels through the grocery store. I keep the essentials on one list and can recall them for the next shopping trip. And its not just for groceries. The Siri and Alexa integration made this even easier. Then I discovered the recipe import and management features. Now I surf for a recipe and when I find it I import it into Anylist. If the recipe uses the micro format it's added to my recipes. If not, I find one that is. Then I review the recipe and check the items I need to buy and my shopping list is ready. Last but not least is the Meal calendar. I use it to plan both the meals for the week and the shopping list. It's especially helpful for planning Thanksgiving dinner. I put the make ahead recipes on one of the days before so I'm not leaving every thing until Wednesday. Anylist is worth every penny I spent.

  • Great app for serious planners

    By Great for Scouting
We’ve been using this app for a year or longer now. Very solid performance and great for a serious meal planner like myself. The Chrome browser plugin for recipes is a huge bonus. It removes the tedious job of hand-jamming recipes. The interaction between the shopping list, recipe section, and meal planning is smooth and seamless.
