If you are thinking of getting or gifting Texture, please be aware that you will not be able to read several magazines using Windows 8 or 10. The developer told me they are aware of the issue and there are no plans to fix this bug in the near future. The magazines do open in iOS 11 and iOS 9 (I have an older iPad.) Also, the magazines open in my Android device.

Not sure if it’s a new update as my iPad auto updates, but I haven’t been able to properly read a magazine on my iPad in months. Turning the pages freezes after each swipe, or it stops in in between pages , freezes constantly. Frustrated and I usually give up reading my magazines. The app wasn’t like this when it first came out. What is going on ? I have months worth of magazines I’d like to go through, but can’t

I’m getting the magazines I always subscribed to for a better price plus I can keep up to date on other magazine articles. It is a win win deal.

I have had texture for several years now and I love it. I have access to so many magazines. Just having the weekly magazines alone is worth the cost. I like that I don’t have back issues of magazines to recycle and I can go back to older issues if I want or need to.
