Gymnast Salute

I'd say this a pretty good app for the price. Not the easiest to use.

This app is super awesome! I have been looking for a great, free, easy to use app to keep track of my scores for years now. Salute does it all. You choose your gymnast, choose your level, select your meet, and type in your scores and places. It keeps track of your seasonal bests and organized everything for you. I will definitely be using this app for years to come!!!

It works well. My one hope is that they update the app and do a better job dividing the levels from one another. I wish that to find a gymnast, you first clicked on their level so the separation of the group is there. I coach three levels and nearly 30 girls so scrolling through the gymnast page can be a pain when selecting gymnasts for meets. I also wish when creating a meet, all I had to do was click what level is competing that session instead of adding each girl individually. When I have all levels for one meet, the outcome is confusing. The other tricky thing is from year to year... I wish a gymnasts level 4 scores would show and roll over to level 5 without being confused as to what level she was then for that meet. I hope that makes sense. Although minor, it can be annoying. Other than that, decent app. Would recommend to others... As soon as changes are made :)

Easy enough to use, but it will not allow me to choose a photo or take a photo....why?

Not intuitive. Added gymnasts. Added meet with trouble as it did not want to save the date. Got the meet added and an find no way to record scores. Menus are screwed up when viewing gymnasts' profiles. Complete app fail.

Downloaded and was able to figure out everything quickly. I was able to setup profile and post scores to twitter and facebook...although it seems Facebook had a problem with initial post. I retried and it worked. Really liked the History feature.

The app will email and tweet scores, but when I try to post to FB (the main reason I bought this app) it doesn't work! I get Error codes 2 and 5 whatever that means. Don't bother buying if you want to post to FB.

It's a nice app but needs a placement section per meet & allow for gymnasts to be sectioned by levels & alphabetized
