App Reviews

  • Doesn’t function properly

    By OldStoneFaceVimes
It does not display the quote of the day, random quotes, or full quotes when selected from a search - just a blank screen.
  • No longer works

    By Mr. Cheerful
What a shame that such a fine app is now useless. You can no longer actually see an individual quotation you look up (without a lot of hassle, like pretending to email it). It would be great to see a fix, but this problem seems pretty permanent.
  • They won't update

    By countupir
This app hasn't received an update that would allow us to see any text/quotes in at least six months.

Hey. What the hell is this application, nothing is showing on screen except a few tabs with search button, and even search is been made nothing appears in quotation section... refund me my money idiots ...
  • USED to be great.

This abandoned app needs some love. Won't even display the quotes anymore, it's just a blank screen.

This app was great when I was able to actually see the quotes. When IOS updated a while ago, the app stopped working properly. Now you can't see the quotes, which makes the app useless. The developers haven't even updated the app in over a year! I would give this app 4 stars if I could actually see the quotes. There is potential here if the developers would actually care to maintain the app.
  • Needs Major Update/Overhaul

    By smodrich
Really a shame that the effort hasn't been put in to update this app for iOS 10. Was a great reference that is now literally useless.
  • Feels like fraud

    By Sumar's Hood
When I paid for this app, it had good reviews, and did what it was supposed to. Since the update, it is completely unusable. Even worse, the company has taken no visible steps to remedy the problem. I feel like they owe all of their customers a refund.
  • Why don't they care??

    By mac_guy1975
I loved this app but as several other reviews noted I crashed under the current iOS. This has been going on for a month or so now do obviously they don't care. The question is why?? Update 9-29-16. Now it no longer works at all under iOS 10. The question is, why is it still available in the App Store???
  • Roll Your Own Quotes?

    By No Nicknames 4 Me
In the past Bartlett's was a good app but it does not appear to run on iOS 10 - it displays only blank pages rather than quotes. Last week I emailed support but have not received any response. Today the app asked me to rate it, but then failed to connect to the App Store so I had to navigate here manually. Update: I found out that the blank quotes really are there - they show up when using the share feature - but given that they don’t show in the app to me makes the app DOA.
