Truly reliable and effective! A Must-Have!
  • Used to be great. Now virtually useless.

I have used Excel on my iPhone and iPad to do my time sheets and service orders for work for several years now. However, now the app has completely broken down on me. I can no longer upload changes to files due to either an unknown error, or because MS thinks someone else is accessing the file, even though no one else is. I have tries changing cloud storage services to no avail. This happened once before and I had to switch to opening files through Dropbox, before a subsequent update fixed the issue. Now I am seeing the same problem after another update to the app. Please fix this. There is no excuse for this kind of behavior in an app people pay for and depend on.
  • Does Exactly What I Need It To Do...

I’m no big fan of Excel, but this app is just like using the desktop version. I must say, it makes it easy to maneuver around & no force stops thusfar

  • Be patient with the learning curve.

It took some time to learn but is great afterward.
  • Not worth the required 360 Service

    By Loggy1964
Upgraded to an iPad Pro an discovered I now need to pay $6.99 a month (over $80 a year) to be able to edit files. Limited functionality and cumbersome workflows are simply not worth the money, Especially in consideration that there are much more affordable alternatives to perform “basic” spreadsheet tasks.

  • one of my favorite apps

    By Jim's iPhone 6+
For 95% of the simple analyses I do as a retiree, the Excel app on my iPhone 8+ is wonderful. For the other 5% I do the setup on my laptop, but I can see it later in the app and do minor adjustments and add data.
