But don’t expect more than you would from a paper copy. More intuitive tap to open a different state or an enlarged view would sure be nice! Error report: US 62/180 is 4 lane divided highway from Carlsbad NM: SW to the Texas state line.

This is a very handy App, especially for anyone who travels a lot on the road. No big frills, just a very handy road atlas.

This is a great app. Yes, it is NOT a navigation app nor georeferenced or zooms into fine detail. If you want that buy an app that does that. This is a good old fashioned map in digital format. I use navigation apps often, but I like to see the big picture in a simple format. I use this app as often or more than navigation apps.
  • Not Georeferenced

I don’t write reviews normally, but this app is terrible. It is not georeferenced and cannot use your location. It is simply maps on a screen. This is simply unacceptable for a map app to not use georeferenced maps. What a waste of $10. Don’t bother unless you just like looking at maps on your phone.
  • Really? No index? A paper map is better.

I expected this to be like buying the paper atlas. There is no way to look up a city. You look at a picture of the map. You can zoom in some. It has landscape and portrait viewing. That's about it. No list of cities. No idea if a city will be on the map, if you take the time to scroll over the whole thing. At least a paper map has an index on the back. Overpriced for such a limited non-app.
  • Does not work

Does not work on my iPad 2, will not download. Have been trying for over two years. Read as many reviews as you can for this app to get a good idea of exactly what you are purchasing.
  • No Zoom

From other reviews , I knew this didn't have more detail than the paper map it's based on. However some reviews indicated that it was possible to zoom in and get a magnified view--but I can't on an iPad. The maximum zoom is the same as the paper map. Using it easier than unfolding a paper map in the car but there's not much detail.

Over all I am pleased with this app. It serves the purpose of carrying a paper map and is easier to navigate. Did a 3000 mile road trip using this and was satisfied. It may not be interactive or show where the Starbucks's is but it will get you where your going! Hard loaded you don't have to rely on an internet connection which is nice since loosing cell phone service is the goal of most of my vacations!
  • This is a good app.

I think most of the negative reviews are from people who don't understand what an atlas is! This is a book of maps in a digital format. So instead of carrying around a huge paperback Rand McNally atlas you can pull up digital maps that you can zoom in on with adequate detail.
