A handy app and a great tool to use for a quick language reference or for interpreting unknown words and phrases.

  • Great app!!

A wonderful tool! You speak in one language and in 2-3 seconds, your desired translation comes forth. This app has been useful to help my son learn Mandarin in school. I could literally travel to any country and speak to the natives. Outstanding!
  • Camera translate

Very impressed by holding my iPhone over a document or photo and this app picking up words and translating. I’ve enjoyed the clues for my genealogical research. What the translator didn’t know yet I was able to figure out. I’ve used this for Spanish with limited usage for Swedish and Finnish.
  • Super useful, both for translation on the go and learning a new language

    By JayW1974
I first purchased the app to navigate my way around Brazil without knowing how to speak Portuguese, and it helped me on the fly several times. Now that I'm learning the language, I use it to help me study and to learn new phrases. I like how it allows you to slow down the audio so you can really hear the pronunciation. Highly recommended!

  • Excellent Application

This is an excellent application. There are no annoying ads that get in the way of using the application. I use the app often to assist with listening activities for my beginning Spanish course when I need additional assistance. I would high recommend this app.
  • Recognition problems

    By Wimpeedoo
I just got this app and am looking forward to using it over in Thailand but one problem I’m having with it so far is very rarely does it recognize the English word “sit”. When I speak “sit” into my iPad, it recognizes that word as “set”. Once in a great while it will understand me when I say “sit” but a far majority of the time it thinks I’m saying “set”. This is extremely frustrating! Can this problem be fixed?
