Debit & Credit App Details

If you are looking for a personal finance app that is convenient, easy to use and at the same time has enough features, then Debit & Credit is the right app for you. • All Accounts in One App Keeping financial records was always a bit of a hassle. But now you can actually enjoy it. See all your accounts in one place and switch between them with one simple touch. • Super Fast Creating a new transaction now takes a matter of seconds. It has never been easier with gestures and other features that we developed for you. And we will never require you to make dozens of unnecessary taps to accomplish simple tasks. • Locations (Geotagging) Shopping frequently at the same place? Save its location to record expenses even faster. You can also get a list of saved payees sorted by distance. • Budgets & Scheduled Transactions Do you want to budget expenses on a particular category? No problems. Do you plan to make a transaction in the future and want to be reminded about it? Consider it done. • Reports We believe in clean, crisp reports that are easy to read and understand. See where and what do you spend your money on. Other types of reports are available too. • iCloud Sync We will never ask you to create an account or provide any personal details. All data is stored in iCloud, it is not available to anyone except you. • Shared Accounts Do you want to share some of your accounts with someone else? No problems, you can share selected accounts via iCloud while keeping other accounts private. Great for managing family finances! • Bank reconciliation mode Sometimes we all need extra help to keep our accounts in shape. You can easily reconcile your accounts with bank statements in the app to eliminate any disparities. • Importing data We know how important it is to be able to import transactions from your financial institutions. That's why we support CSV, QIF, QMTF, OFX and QFX files. And you can also choose which particular transactions to import from a file, something that not all financial apps know how to do. • Color Themes Eight color themes are available for selection in the app settings in case if you want to customize your experience. • Powerful features Split categories, pending transactions, transaction export, file attachments, transaction tags, Siri, 3D Touch and Touch ID support, printing reports and saving them as PDF files - all those and many other features are at your disposal when you need them. • Mac version of the app You can download macOS version of the app on the Mac App Store. It has even more features and syncs fast with the iOS companion via iCloud. Some features are limited to premium version subscribers. If you choose to purchase premium version, payment will be charged to your iTunes account, and your account will be charged for renewal 24 hours prior to the end of the current period. Auto-renewal may be turned off at any time by going to your settings in the iTunes Store after purchase. Current price for the premium subscription is $9.99 per year, and may vary from country to country. App Reviews

  • Clean, Simple, Functional (Subscription Required)

UPDATE: To those who haven’t bought this app already, I’ve changed my rating from 5 stars to 4 stars: The premium edition now requires a subscription. As a developer myself I understand the difficult position Mr. Pavlov is in. Developers need support to create and maintain their apps, and the pricing model on the App Store often results in a race to the bottom where it becomes impossible to sell apps for more than a buck or two. This leads to a scenario where there is not enough revenue stream to cover the cost of maintaining the app. Generally speaking I’m ok with paying open-ended subscriptions for services (tv, cell phone, utilities, internet, etc) but not for discrete updates to an app that I’d rather pay more up front for. It seems the subscription for this app is not for a service, and not just to unlock premium features, but for app updates. The frequency and value of the updates is clearly not going to remain the same during the app’s lifecycle, but users will have to ask themselves if the subscription they pay every month is worth the updates they’re receiving. Many financial app developers charge a subscription (at least in part) for their in-house syncing service. Considering that this app’s syncing system is based on the much better and more reliable iCloud (which I’m already paying a subscription for), I would hope that the developer could rework the Apple Watch app to sync to iCloud (and shared accounts) without having to open the iPhone app. Currently if you add transactions to shared wallets via your Apple Watch, and you don’t open the app on the iPhone, the wallet won’t sync with other users. This means I don’t really know if my budget is up to date or not. I originally purchased this app for the clean watch interface, but if I have to open the iPhone app to sync anyway, it kind of defeats the utility of the watch app. In summary, I’d rather pay 2-3x more up front for an app or IAP to know exactly what I’m paying for, and so the developer can work updates into that cost model, than to pay an open-ended monthly subscription for updates I may not even notice. Especially when the syncing service is based on iCloud and is still not fully featured with the Apple Watch. Still, I’d say this app is in the top 5 apps in its category. Original review: After using more complex apps like Mint (which have their place pulling bank account info), I was searching for a simple app that I could manually create budgets, enter transactions, and share with my wife. Other apps often require a subscription anywhere from $2-10 a MONTH simply to enable account/budget sharing! UPDATE: The premium features of version 2.6 now requires a subscription for those who haven’t previously purchased the premium features. I’ve found that the single premium purchase for this app is WELL worth it - it uses iCloud, so the syncing fits seamlessly in the Apple ecosystem, instead of having to worry about yet another syncing mechanism. Also, the developer’s support is top notch. I submitted a question regarding syncing shared account transactions to/from the Apple Watch app. The developer promptly replied that since the Apple Watch syncs to the iPhone (and the iPhone syncs directly with iCloud), the watch syncing to/from my wife’s devices will occur when the iPhone app is open. Thank you for this app!

Setup super easy and using the app is super easy as well. Using it with my wife and shared accounts. Had a few questions for app support and the response time was impressive. Highly recommend!

I purchased 2 days ago the app for my Mac $14.99 plus I have to pay $4.99 for my iPhone app. A total of $19.98 to used this app that doesn’t offer you full download ownership, but I just noticed on their new update the app is becoming into a subscription! A Total ripoff. I should had stayed with my previous app! Please stop harassing me to try to make me change my review. You brag that your app is the best app and the cheapest app within the App Store and that is a lie! I haven’t used any other financial app, but by looking at some of them, they seem to offer more for less. PLEASE STOP HARASSING ME! I already said what I needed to said and that’s the end.
  • Pricing is ridiculous

The app itself is pretty good. But to charge you for the premium version on each device is ridiculous. I paid 6.00 to use it on my iPhone and you want another 6.00 to use it on my Mac!
  • Ehhhh

I’ve been using MoneyWiz 2 since 2012 and the developers have retired it, moving on to a new paid subscription MoneyWiz3 app. I don’t want a monthly/yrly paid subscription app that directly links to my bank. I prefer manually adding my receipts, bills and income. Thankfully I found this app very similar to what I was using so it’s goodbye MoneyWiz2 for me. Debit&Credit is exactly what I was looking for, simplicity and functionality, it’s perfect. Purchased this for iPad, iPhone and my MacBook Pro!
  • Clean interface and quick to use!

I searched for such app all day long. It’s VERY useful, easy to understand, all functions are necessary. Interface is user-friendly and not overloaded as many of such apps. And it’s for free! I, as iOS developer, started to think, that I should make such app by myself, but when I got to know about this app and forgot this idea. Everything cool, thank you, developers!
