The League App Details

We’ll do the vetting so you can do the petting. Want to date someone who shares your drive? And maybe, just maybe, you’d like to meet someone attractive enough to look good in black-and-white photos, courteous enough to use punctuation marks, and flexible enough to fit into your way-too-restrictive scheduling blocks? While your mother calls you picky, we call you self-aware. It’s happy hour, so go get ’em.' League users now have the option of becoming a member by purchasing several subscription options. This membership offers extra perks, customization, more prospects & invites to exclusive events. Depending on what term you choose, your Membership will last for either 1 month, 6 month, or 12 month, and automatically renew at those intervals from point of purchase onward. If you wish to cancel your membership before it is renewed, you must do so at least 24-hours before the end of the current period. Payment will be charged to iTunes Account at confirmation of purchase. Subscription automatically renews unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24-hours before the end of the current period. Account will be charged for renewal within 24-hours prior to the end of the current period, and will be renewed at the same price the next term. Subscriptions may be managed by the user and auto-renewal may be turned off by going to your Account Settings after purchase. See terms and conditions at and our privacy policy

App Reviews

  • Do not sign up!

    By Dissapointment!
This app is a scam! Unless you live in the very few cities they service you will not find any singles in your area. They only disclose to you what cities they are in after you pay. They will not offer you a refund. So, if you want an app for online long-distance dating, have fun. This app was not for me. The closest city to me was a 4 hour drive. That makes it difficult to make connections. Waste of my time.
  • WARNING: TONS of spam in my email and limited city availability

    By Cassandra Veronica
After downloading this app and making an account, I have been receiving TONS of spam and malware emails, 26 in less than 24 hrs. I never received any junk or spam before signing up and haven’t signed up for anything, not even a single newsletter, for 4 months. Also, it is only available in a couple handfuls of cities, which isn’t disclosed until you already completed an account. You need a FB or a LinkedIn to sign up. I don’t have FB so I used LinkedIn and now I’m worried what crap it could do to that. Disappointed, was hoping it was legit. SLC is not available. BEWARE DOWNLOADING

It’s not worth the wait. Tinder for gay dudes is better. The app is hyped up for nada. Nothing special about it. Next

The League, for better or worse, provides a different kind of dating app experience. I wouldn’t say that I prefer this app over more popular ones, but I appreciate the quality over quantity idea being used here. As a woman who is only interested in other women, I ran out of options very quickly. I understand that this is not the fault of the app, and just depends on who is using it in my area. However I think it’s absolutely ridiculous that the app on multiple occasions started giving me males to match with instead. That shouldn’t be happening, and I’m fed up and will be deleting.

Scam. Just another app after your money while providing piss-poor results. You’ll have better luck on Tinder.

Everyone on this is on tinder anyway. Not worth the pretentious “waitlist”
  • Nothing exclusive about it.

    By Smegs Doowangle
I got in immediately through a VIP referral. The first couple of matches we're what hiud call exclusive but since then I get people that I'd not call exclusive if dateable. I get nothing but matches of Indian men even though my preference is not to be marched as culturally we are not a match. Of the few matches I have made none of the men have responsed. This app is pretty worthless and not worth the hype. If you're in the wait list is spend my time elsewhere.
  • Bad matches and ads!

    By Jvancour
I was so disappointed with this app. I thought it would be a place to find someone with similar ambition, education levels, etc. That wasn’t the case. First of all, the whole waiting list thing seemed really arbitrary, as there were people let in with really bad profiles. So I waited about a week to get in and since then it’s been about 4 months. In that span of time I only had 2 matches, both of which ended up not being to my standards. On similar dating platforms, where you only have a small batch every day, I’ve gotten great matches in the same amount of time. The second reason I gave this such a low rating is because they have ads! It’s normal for dating apps to have ads for their premium services (of which the league does doubly as more than others), but the league also had ads for Netflix and today they had one for 7-11. So when that happened, that was the last straw for me. I was so excited about this app and it was so disappointing. Not worth the time!
  • Waste of time

I was only on the wait list 1 day. No complaints there. I went on a total of 2 dates from men on this app. Men rarely match, or even write back. It is stupid. Just get one of the free apps with no wait
  • Feels a bit like a bait and switch

    By jdamaso84
It’s okay, feels a little dishonest in its initial presentation. When I first joined (for free) I had several interesting, very attractive people match with me. At the time, it seemed like >75% of the women they’d present seemed to fit that criteria, but then as soon as I became a member (which is a really expensive commitment) the overall quality of the people they present decreases significantly. Yes, they’ll show you more people each day once you join, but they won’t be anything like the people they showed you before you joined. They know what they’re doing. Definitely won’t be renewing if this trend continues. Feels like a bait and switch.
