Sweatcoin - Coin For Sweat App App Details

The AppStore №1 and top-rated for your Apple Watch, Sweatcoin app converts your outdoor steps into gadgets, sports and fitness kit, services and experiences. 5 Stars ► “Such a great concept and executed excellently. Gets me walking and rewards me for it too!” by Woo123789 “Basically pays you to move and exercise, and it costs nothing to use.” - Men’s Journal “The easiest way to make some side cash by doing what you already do naturally — walking.” - TheNextWeb “New UK health app Sweatcoin launched in the Apple app store this week and has been an instant hit.” - Forbes “New Apple app launches in Britain that pays people to get fit” - Reuters “The app that PAYS you to get fit: Sweatcoin rewards people for the number of steps they make every day” - Daily Mail “If ever you’ve needed an incentive to exercise, a new app could give you a much-needed boost to get active.” - Telegraph Sweatcoin converts your steps into currency units called, as you might have guessed it, sweatcoins. You can then spend them on goods, services and experiences on our market place with our partners or exchange them with your friends and family for whatever you fancy. The fitter and healthier you become the wealthier you get. Movement has value! And remember that continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life. Sweatcoin uses your HealthKit step history data to continuously improve our algorithms and provide you with better offers at the right time.

  • Items are not worth what they cost.

At first this app seemed like a great idea, walk for some “coins” and use that to purchase something, right? No! Any given item costs like 10,000 sweat coins, and you’re only given like .95 coin for every 1000 steps. Maybe increase the conversion rate or make the price of items in sweat coins more reasonable.

The idea of getting paid to exercise is pretty cool but don’t expect a lot out of it. Every coin you earn is converted into dollar amounts. And you have a limit of 5 coins max per day that you can earn max of 1,825 in a year. Sooo if you’re trying to earn 20,000 to redeem in for a reward like the $1,000 PayPal, it will take years. Now if you exercise a lot and want to earn more than 5 coins a day, you can by paying $10 or more a month to increase your max limit of coins earned.

I just downloaded this just hours ago and I’m already loving it so much, I’m so glad my friend talked me into this and the best part is this app doesn’t scam you at all and all I got to say is (it’s great)
  • Doesn’t count all my steps

Despite following all of the rules tricks and tips the app still doesn’t credit all my steps.

I am currently in school all the time, sometimes I’m allowed to bike but it never. EVER. Tracks my steps while in school. Please fix that because all schools have big campuses and we take so many steps getting to class but it never loads them.

App crashes on start. Literally loads then closes. Worthless at this point.
  • App is a good idea, but it’s not worth it

Are you willing to sacrifice your battery life for an app that will give you cents a day? I know I’m not. I downloaded the app thinking it’ll be cool to just let it run in the background while I go throughout my day. I’m using an iPhone X, and with this impressive battery life, this app runs it into the ground. It is constantly using GPS 24/7. This will destroy your battery life.
  • Joke

Popularity of this app is a joke I would be telling my friends at the pub. Truth is, if two years ago there was an app that paid in points (which you can only spend on something similar to rewards of 5% off at some noname store), no one would care. But founders replaced “points” with “...coin” + everyone talks about bitcoin = road to success. I think at this point it’s more expensive to keep app running in the background, since you’re paying at least in battery drain which is lost opportunity to do something else. Who knows, maybe in two years sweatcoin will worth a buck, but for now it equals to 0 and will be so until there is real $ value behind each coin. Most annoying thing app doesn’t offer an option to delete my account.
