App Reviews

  • Font too large

    By Hippiesrlame
Even at the smallest setting text is way too large to be comfortable to read on my iPad Pro. This is my only complaint with this app. Other than that it’s great! Update to dev response: Appreciate the suggestion but all other apps on my device are comfortable at the default text size. It’s just this particular app where it feels much too large. Changing a system wide setting for 1 app that will negatively affect my reading experience on all other apps isn’t an option for me. Would highly suggest implementing a text size configuration slider to allow smaller text sizes.
  • [Typography] [UX] worth the money.

    Especially if you frequent Wikipedia.
  • Your app is amazing!!!!

Especially the Apple Watch lte 3 implementation. Is it possible for you to develop wikitionary plz?? I would pay 20 bucks for that!! I’m currently learning German and French so having a dictionary with etymology on it would be fantabulous. But yeah! Awesome!!
  • 👍🏾 THE point of reference. Look to it. 👀

    By fjpoblam
I use Wikipedia daily, and V for Wikipedia is where I read it. Readability: what it's all about. My other essential reference apps use the usual (often small) Helvetica sans-serif font. Boring and often difficult to read. V for Wikipedia: a vote for legibility and style. (One might add, of course, full-featured and fast.) I only wish that when I select a Wikipedia link in a browser search it would pop right in to V for Wikipedia. (Dream on…)
  • Perfect.

This app does what it says it can do. I use it daily. I do wish you could localize the storage and access older pages that you searched offline; however, there maybe legal issues or something with that, but other than that one request, this app is shear perfection. Thanks!
  • Very good design; Love it.

  • I love it so much

Use daily. Wonderful improvement over the native interface, which I don’t mind. But this is the ultimate upgrade.
