Based on your current location, iCrimeAware displays crime data for the closest reporting US city and up to 20 nearby cities with new view on map feature. iCrimeAware also enables you to quickly and easily browse crime rates for any specific state or city. iCrimeAware displays city population, number of violent crimes, murders, rapes, robberies, property crimes, assaults, thefts, burglaries, arsons and auto thefts. The data is official and includes 2010, 2009, 2008, 2007 and 2006 data.

iCrimeAware also includes a panic button to hopefully deter a crime or get help quickly if you need it. Press iCrimeAware’s panic button or shake the iPhone to trigger an alarm and phone call to an emergency contact.

1. Alarm will sound even if the iPhone is in vibrate mode.
2. Shake to call with configurable shake sensitivity.
3. iPhone will not lock/sleep while on the "Device Armed" screen.
